Do not hold yourself anymore, let a confabulation start,
Let the coldness drift away, let a fire spark,
Now that the boat has been rowed into the sea of the world,
What does it matter where it goes, one day shall be set apart.
Category: Laughter and Echo

Betterment: NaPoWriMo Day 22
We have to be better, and better we shall be,
Stronger than the wind, and deeper than the sea,
For even after attempts to hold ourselves together,
Broken were you again, and shattered were me.
Dust: NaPoWriMo Day 21
Once together we laughed, now the world laughs at us,
The benches we sat on, have now been destroyed by rust,
My heat now dreams of a longing and a friend,
A new flower must now bloom, for this one has turned to dust.
The Pilferer: NaPoWriMo Day 18
This post is for DP Challenge.
The sea that once was mine, now threw waves at me,
What could strangers take away, friends turned tables on me,
The treasure of mine was pilfered callously by those,
Who didn’t ask for it, but I trusted their custody.
Alone
Neither do I walk alone , nor alone am I meant to be ,
Even a piece of wood , separated from earth , is not called a tree,
So break all the shackles and be unites o brothers,
For a single drop of water , does not constitute sea.
A Rose For You
The time we spent together has been coming back to me ,
The words you said seem lies, and the feelings read irony,
I will still bring you every rose in the world , like I promised ,
But they seemed flowers only before , now thorns are all I see.
Laughter and Echo
I remember when I was 16 , I met a sweet little bird .
Above the mountains, beyond the sea, away from old city’s dirt,
I used to laugh in happiness and she used to laugh with me ,
I still try to laugh again, but now echo is all that’s heard.
